Phaeton S2 rebuild

Well the rear axle is now in ,however I need the get the chassis height  set up with blocks to get the top position for the shock absorber bracket ,I forgot to take the height of chassis before I took it apart so if anybody has an S2 Phaeton  on cart springs can you please post the road to chassis height on here please , At present the height is set at 125mm but  it means my link bars point downhill slightly

Hi Brian, your chassis is looking good, but as a heads up, I would suggest that you check the position of the brackets on the axle. My old B-plus has them positioned inboard of the chassis to allow for clearance when the suspension is compressed. From experience, when I replaced the trailing arm bushes, I once fitted the bolts with head towards the diff and the spare thread facing the brake drums resulting in the chassis bottoming out on the spare thread. PM me if you would like more information.
