Let's try that again

"James, The rears are original U.S. .5 x 13 slot mags. The fronts we think may be a pair of the steel alloy look alike 6 x 13 off an Escort Harrier. Tyres are Federal 595's which are OK but with the performance we're getting out of the car…"

"Those wheels look good, with a decent ET. What size are they and what size tyres have they got on? They seem to fill the arches very nicely."

"Quick fix........ Suck it out of the dipstick with one of thoes (technical term sucky jobs) vacuum oil removal pumps. Not the correct way but it will get the job done for now."

"I'd just like to ask has anyone got a source for stickers and the like, I would love some dutton wheel centers and one of the round orange logos to put in the now blanked off horn in the center of the steering wheel."

"It's a 1.6 zetec with cbr 1000 itb's, megasquirt and 4 bar of fuel. The fact that the car weighs so little is what makes it so effective."

Welcome to the mad house, Laurence. Sounds like an interesting engine project. What gearbox have you got and are you keeping it? Also what about fuelling?
