I have been doing some work on the legerra and noticed a bit delamination on the top of the windscreen nothing that a sun strip wont hide but made me wonder what the windscreen was from ??

oops i stand corrected.... but even at 80 quid it would be worth it.... and once mine gets the Zetec fitted and the stock ford alternator  it wont be an issue for me.

Don't know what the current draw is, probably substantial enough to need a new circuit direct from the alternator / starter. Depends on what you have fitted. I have changed to a late V belt Sierra one which I think is 70-90A its a snug fit on the legerra upper wishbone bracket.. Top tint was also an option but I can't remember what the cost was.

£80 seems reasonable. How much current do they draw, would I have to find an uprated alternator? Legerras could also do with a top tint as we have no sun shades.

on the plus side if the club were to order a batch of windscreens they could all have heater elements inside for an extra 30 quid or so.........just saying....

We did try rather hard to get replacements made but that sort of stalled due to finances not being in place.

I was quoted £3k by one company....
