Asking you guys to recommend me suitable springs for my current Spax suspension. Road use.
Springs are currently 8" x 2"3\4 front and 10" on the back. Seriously stiff with little or no movement.

There is quite an angle on that front spring but the rears are usually close to vertical, so you need a stiffer spring at the front to give you the same effective rate. So for an effective rate of 140 lb/in then you'd need about 200 lb/in springs at the front. A lot of what you feel as you drive is actually the dampers, rather than the springs. Adjustable dampers allow you to fiddle with the set-up to suit your taste and your local roads.

my cars run about 180lb fronts and 120 -150 rears 120's are very good solo but a little soft two up ..but ok. 150's are still on the firm side but not bad.

Sorry, prempted the comment, my bad.

Many a discussion on spring lengths and strengths has been had on here. I have driven cars with as low as 120lb on the front, quite soft but grippy. Prefer that to the rigid 'gokart' feel

Does anyone know the standard settings for Spitfire or herald springs?

You got some odd angles going on there Barry...Or just querying the size of the shock?
