thats a womans job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The only part of any Dutton to enter our house is the V5C, everything else is outside. The only exceptions are bits of upholstery (evo stick is however completely banned) and Daryl's spare windscreen which is currently living in our spare room.

Sue likes the Legerra and has even driven it, the Sierra however is considered to be an abomination she would rather I hadn't bought, her exact description on facebook when she found out Dave T and I were trailering it home was 'incanf***ingdesant with rage'. 3 Days to calm down and two years on we have done a couple of trips in it and it would help if I stopped the exhaust/oil vapour getting in.

All my car parts are in the garage.  However, I have been instructed it is a "one out one in basis", to control the amount of junk ( sorry parts I buy).  So I sold some throttle bodies and then bought an engine.

My wife's ok about it then again she 's not much choice as the Dutton is our every day transport especially in the winter.

Question is would your wives/significant others prefer you tinkering in the garage/shed on the Dutton or away out of site and up to no good! ;)

My wife thinks that my first Dutton, a Melos, is a funny little car, but if it makes me happy... When I got my second, the Legerra, she went for one ride in it and said that it needed new seats but has not been in it again since they were fitted. When I bought my Rickman Ranger she made me say that I'd sell the Melos. She has been in the Rickman twice in the six months that I have had it.

She doesn't like me spending too much time on my cars, particularly evenings and weekends (i.e. any time at all). And she keeps asking why I don't just get a proper car! I think that the Rickman and the Legerra ARE proper cars.

I rarely bring anything into the house but I did once put an inlet manifold in the oven to try to loosen a hose fitting, that filled the whole house with smoke and fumes and it still smelt when she came home. She was not pleased.

My mrs says she loves the Melos BUT she has only driven it once, and I cant seem to get her to drive it  again . But she will sit next to me and frequently say " what you going so mad for " ??? Every time I go above 50mph or if the tyres give the slightest   noise !!!!!!  Think she would rather I had a Morris 1000 :)
