Hi Guys, I am going to see about the tour Polo shirts this week, thought's on this welcome. Marian suggested that the ladies might want different colours. I was thinking white, with embriodered logo and tour date.

2 months to go to The 2nd annual Lakes tour, up to now we have 4 cars booked into the Brotherswater Inn. we hope to see a few more of you on the Saturday or Sunday, last year proved to be a brilliant weekend.
The plan is to meet at Anderton Services ( Bolton North) M61 travel via the A6 and arrive at Brotherswater before mid morning, having called for breakfast on the way up. Dump the cases and bags, that will lighten the load. then down through Ambleside, Windermere, Bowness to the bottom of the Lake at Newby Bridge up to Eskdale and over Hardknott Pass onto Wrynose Pass, down through Langdales back through Ambleside finish off with a sprint up the Struggle. End of day 1 and a well earned pint or 2.
Sunday, after Breakfast, back down the Struggle ( Can't you guess i Like this road?) Ambleside, Grassmere, Keswick up to Wynlatter Pass, Lorton, Buttermere stopping at Lodore Falls Hotel for afternoon tea, then on to Keswick and home via the A6.
As I said earlier try and make one of the days if you can't do the weekend. If the weathers as good as last year it will be stunning weekend.

The Lakeland Motor museum will not be open in time for the Lakes Tour, but I am going to try and find out the openning date and perhaps that an excuse for another trip out.
I'll keep you all informed.

Hi Northern Duttoneers, not post in a while, but another year is here, and things are looking good, main Daisy Dutton survived another winter, it like a Blue Peter moment, finding that the Tortiose is stiill alive at the bottom of the box.
Enough ramblings, reason for the post is about the Lakes tour, I still haven't heard from the Lakes Car Museum so I will give them another call.
We did discuss doing the run the other way round and thats good, but thought about doing the Keswick circuit on the sunday, and booking Cream Teas at The Lodore Falls Hotel £10 each on the Sunday afternoon. Let me know if that OK and I'll give them a call.

Happy New Year to everyone, lets hope we all get MOT's first time, have spare cash in our wallets for TAX & Insurance.
Meeting sounds good on Thursday, I'll give you call tomorrow.
