Here we are sat in the Lodore Falls Hotel lounge, just doing a reccie for the Lakes Tour (well having a beer and chilling out).

The more the merrier, always welcome. we chose this weekend because it should be a bit warmer than last year at -3' on the Sunday morning.
The Brotherswater inn (Sykeside) does have camping, a bunk house and a cotage if you want to make a long weekend of it.

Should be OK, still awaiting an answer from the motor museum. we where in the Lakes last week and did the Struggle from Ambleside twice going up, and that's the way I thought we should go to the Hotel.
Marian say's Thanks for the thought's.
My mate Steve bought Gary's car so that now lives in Harwood.

What about finishing up at Lakeland Motor Museum, Newby bridge, for lunch. It's all new and opens for Spring 2010 (Easter 2nd April). See web link

The Brotherswater Inn at Sykeside as limited amount of rooms, so if anybody fancies the run up and a weekend of good company, and good driving roads, you need to be booking.
We have moved the 2010 Tour about 5 weeks further into Spring, hopefully this will give us a little bit more warmth, and daylight. Which also means that if there are any real brave Duttoneers fancing the run Sykeside has a great Camping ground, and a Bunk house, and also a Cottage (Caterham owners only).

With your support we could make this into one of the big outings of the Dutton Calendar.

Check out the Event. New Dates 24th and 25th Aprill 2010, who's that sound to everyone.
This year we are going to do the runs the other way round ( nearly said in reverse, but that would wreck my gearbox).

We are thinking of changing the date to mid April, a little warmer.
Show of hands please

Hi Dave , there is a possibility that we might come up for stafford as i have never been before, I need to check dates for september, iI know we are going down for the Beaulieu autojumble as my dad has just taken delivery of a robin hood zero kit.
For the mean time i have plenty to get on with on the Dutton , i havent drove her for nearly ten years and looking around her now, there are some safety issue 's to sort out, namely a new petrol tank, shortening the sump and fitting a decent prop loop . i must be getting old !! , Stafford sounds great though .

Hi Mark, Just got back from Holiday. This years run was very good as I said. Closer to the time I will sort out numbers and suggest the B&B, probably the same one we used last year, which is good value with exellent food and BEER!
Will you be going to the Stafford show?
