Ford used two standards for wheel studs....early cars were imperial later ones metric, the split is around the mk1 to mk2 escort change......i have owned Duttons with different rear axles from the front. rear axles are often imperial since early escorts were easier to find in scrap yards.....BUT front ends are often off later cars because disc brakes were more common on them whereas drums for front brakes were very common on early cars.

thanks for you input chaps..

ey martin im not far off that.....and yes i did eat all the pies.....lol and drank all the larger....lol
