Great news and result for my Phaetons 1600 X-Flow after losing oil pressure on the way back from Donnington I finally checked it tonight with mecanical oil pressure gauge, I am well chuffed cold pressure 60 p.s.i. Hot tick over 40 p.s.i. and at 2000 rpm with hot oil 55 p.s.i.

I am still going to fit the 1700 though just to see how it performs. It as a similar oil pressure and as I need to change the sumps over I'll check the bottom end before I commit to fitting it.

Mike the 1600 will become the back up engine now, I'll drop the sump off the 1700 this weekend at some point between doing the Sierra, shopping, walking t'Whippet (It's a Staffy really) cleaning t'pigeon loft and visiting my Mum. A Northerners life is such hard work, bring back 72 hours a week down't pit.
