Dutton Kit Cars and their owners

The aim for this afternoon was to get the new hubs fitted at the front and put the anti squeal shims in the brakes. Got the shims fitted no problem. Fitted the new bearings to the hubs, took the old hubs off, swapped the discs over. Had a problem fitting the new hubs, the inside diameter of both bearings are too big and the hub itself is longer so even if the bearings were correct I wouldnt be able to get the nut on.

I'm guessing my upright is off a spitfire, the hub is from a vitesse/gt6. Should of guessed really as i've got type 12 calipers. In the workshop manual it shows the stub axle as removable, can I just swap this for the relevant vitesse one or do I need to replace the whole upright? If I have to replace the upright will the wishbones/calipers bolt straight on?

Cheers
