weed burners = side pipes.

What are 'weed burners'? I have never heard that before. It wasn't auto-correct was it?

weed burners.....best for room.

Do you think I might have to resort to using the cast manifolds, or completely new tubular ones, in order to get side exhausts?

I know that when I go on holiday in Portreath I am always amazed at how quickly everything degrades at the seaside. Including stainless steel. I remember the primary colours you used on your Sierra - yellow suspension, red chassis, green body, and now with a gold engine. But even pink would be much better that rusty.

I also spent a good 30 seconds looking at the exhaust, uhmmm!

Today being boring Saturday and the wife at work, I buried myself in the cave and stripped James suspension to bits, Surprisingly, it came to bits, well, nearly all of it. One lower shocker bolt wouldn't play and the same side trunnion bolt was well siezed. Luckily this was the damaged wishbone, so in a fit of temper, I destroyed the wishbone and prised it all out. Finally got the shocker bolt free but the trunnion is proving nasty. Left it soaking in red diesel. Freed off the adjustable spring mounts, Cleaned up all the threads on the mounts and started........painting it all! Yep, sorry James, its a trait I have, something to do with shipyard stuff, stand still and you'll get painted lad :-) I am being very reserved though James, though I was tempted with mixing a red and white together, but I thought better of it. You'll like it, very subtle. Waiting on the new bushes and away we go, rebuilding.
