Hi spanners ,, If you still have the tonneau cover for a Melos and if it is for sale could you please let me know as I am very interested. :0)
you know if you would have asked prior to seeing this photo i would have bet the smart was a much smaller car than the Melos.....there really isn't a lot in it is there?
Tonneau covers should still be available new from "monsoon" dont know what they would charge though.
Hi,My kettle works great thanks to my lovely "Cooking Lady" !!! Has any one made a tonneau cover for a Melos
Of course, I will have the last laugh when I make my own leak-proof roof. It will be a Targa top so that I can quickly convert it to an open car if the weather brightens up and then switch back to a hardtop if the heavens open again. All the flexibility of a soft top but without the irritating poppers that come undone at 75mph or when you pass a lorry. All I need is the design ... and the manufacturing skill ... and the time. But what is really holding me back is deciding on the colour!
I've got a hardtop on my Melos, Daryl, and, after a bit of limbering up and a few muscle stretches, I can actually get in and out of the driver's seat with it fitted.
I never realised how big the Smart is! They both look like nice cars. People often complain about those Smarts leaking when it rains - they should try a Dutton then they'd not complain about the Smart again.
