What a surprise

This engine just keeps sending me surprises. Tonight was the first time I have removed the inlet manifold and this was the view it is ported and polished. I have not cleaned it you see what saw, impressive job to by the look and feel.

I have also rebuilt the carb which is now a bit of a hybrib as I have used the spindles and gears from a DGAS and fitted them to the Orignal DGAV, should make for an interesting little conversion until the R1 bike carbs are fitted.

I have already toldthe Apprentice, if this engine is sweet it is going into my Phaeton and he can have the Phaeton engine in the Sierra.
