aw god so its shite..?
Think mine is the same as the one hanging up. Brian, just buy it, make it fit, and be happy :-))
Top of the class Master Southgate :-}}
I know full well that someone will correct me if i'm wrong :) I always worked on the principal that due to the pulsing of the exhaust gasses the ideal set of pipes would be ones that meant the pulses didn't arrive at the collection point at the same time. This timing will obviously have a large number of variables however as a general rule, synchronous pulses are better than simultaneous pulses. To make this happen all the primaries would need to be the 'same' length. IF that is the correct theory then from what I can see (and guess at) the top set of pipes in Steve's picture looks to be the most efficient. doesn't matter what the firing order is, those pipes all look to be the same mechanical length. The two inner pipes have a curve which looks to match the length of the outer two which are much straighter.
So... come on experts... am I right or wrong?
@ steve thanks ill let you know asap thankyou
@ big vern witch one dont look special....im not paying between £300 and £500 for a new one na a not me lol
Escort or Capri - MK2 Cortina is different neither will fit a Melos without modification - that one don't look particularly special - probably only worth £20
thanks...got to be worth a gamble
Buy it, it will fit with some mod's. This was the same as my original, when cut you have plenty of pipe the right size to make it fit.
