Many moons back I was working in Germany, Heidelberg, the foreman there wanted to learn English and the common thread was cars. He turned up in his "special" works prepared Renault Alpine A110. Took me out one evening and rallied it around the mountain roads, I still remember the awesome speed he threw it about with, Had to stop, I was starting to get car sick, never before or since, it was that rapid.
