Thanks for all the comments, it was saved and rebuilt as a light hearted project, hence the marmite colour, love it hate it, whatever. It still is a light hearted project. I refuse to get uptight about it, it is what it is, very low budget parts hauler. I would start again and do it all different but, it starts, it goes, it stops, most of the time. The show thing is a bit of banter, some in the club have never seen it, time to put that right, some have never spoken to the Dutton owner (B+) let's see if this causes any reaction. It's all about the car's and the fun.
We'd best wait to see if it actually gets there under its own steam - it is a Dutton!
But Martin is right about feeling proud of your achievement. Plus being proud of having the vision and determination to make it happen.
:-))))))))))))))
I often look at them, and think, why me :-)) then it all runs well for a few weeks and all gets forgiven. I'm going to a steam rally with it on Sunday, its a surprise for a few kit owners who have their nose's in the air, should fit right in parked up between a couple of Cobra trailer queens, plus I been dared to do it for a few beers :-))
Steve, she's a tidy old tart. If you put that photo next to the one I sent you of it sitting on pallets...
it ain't that good when you snuggle up close to it :-))
