I do feel a bit like a surregate here, doing all the work and giving it away.

ah well i got my cast off my arm yesterday afternoon, just got a splint on my thumb now, but still off work for another 3-4 weeks. so thumbs up is just about possible......in fact yeah I'll give it a thumbs up, expect grief from family and friends though, everyone has an idea about the best colour and green don't figure in their choices very often. I don't care about their opinion, because i like the light green colour........might be too nice for your son, you sure you want him to have it? :-)
