Roger, that is a very good example of a Dutton, as for your English, that to is OK. I like your doors, they match in very well. Good car, well done.
I have no problem for regstration with the papers, but we have a technical controle and inspection for the car
and that is sometimes difficult to comply with these rules
The car is approved for an oldtimer = 25 years old and the rules are not so difficult here in Belgium
but all together I have had no problems with the papers and technical controle to bring the car on the road
ps: sorry for mine English (Google translate) but I try do mine best.
how hard is it to get a registration for a car like a Dutton in Belgium?
I was led to believe that it would be very difficult there.....
thanks,
I did all the converion and change on mine self
the conversion for the left hand drive is from a Belgium Ford Escsort steering, pedalbox, breakpomp with servo
and breaklines a lot work
rear axel is from a 3.0l capri, with adjustable suspension and kawasaki springs
front suspension is from ford sierra with competition shocks and springs
roll-bars is from mercedes car
The doors are seldmade with small windows
motor is 205 pinto (1800ccm) with automatic gearbox from Ford Granada
Very smart, like the details in the left hand drive conversion. Did you do that Roger?
