After cutting and shutting, the grille as all but disappeared. The main lamp has all the brackets attached, the spot lamps are mounted to the grille with their adjusters. I did try to utillise the grille, but because the BMW grille slants back at the bottom it would have meant cutting a lot of the front panel away, as you can see under the spot. This would have caused the spot lamp back foul on the radiator brackets. So a re-think, and re- glass the bits cut away, and start again. I have now cut away most of the grille, and the lamps fit a treat. The problem was also the Roo-Bar upright had to bi-sect the 2 lamps see first mock up photo.
Just the other side to set up and then I can glass the grille and frames into the front panel.
So many jobs coming together and not enough hours. I wanted to try and get the car in primer this weekend, but today the wind as just blown all day, and it's cold. Lets see what tomorrow brings.
