Probably old Nags, hardly be thoroughbred, could it an old donkey, or an ass ???  But that relates to the owner I think :-))

Still don't know what an oss has to do with Duttons, its been on the club logo for years but has never made sense to me. Maybe someone in the clubs early days had an oss called Dutton
