Well the rear axle is now in ,however I need the get the chassis height  set up with blocks to get the top position for the shock absorber bracket ,I forgot to take the height of chassis before I took it apart so if anybody has an S2 Phaeton  on cart springs can you please post the road to chassis height on here please , At present the height is set at 125mm but  it means my link bars point downhill slightly

Hi Stuart  it only looks close because I have not set the ride height yet . I need to get the front on before I can sort  the rear

Hi Brian, your chassis is looking good, but as a heads up, I would suggest that you check the position of the brackets on the axle. My old B-plus has them positioned inboard of the chassis to allow for clearance when the suspension is compressed. From experience, when I replaced the trailing arm bushes, I once fitted the bolts with head towards the diff and the spare thread facing the brake drums resulting in the chassis bottoming out on the spare thread.
