Filled in the hole from where the mudguards had been removed.  Now need to carefully measure the cut out for the suspension and then some filler and prep

Carbon look cycle wings.  Just need to work out how to make up some frames to mount them

No it is a booby cover. No, It's one and half air filters. The odd dome one I believe is HKS style filter for Jap motors, it was cheap and kept muck out of the carb. I have bought some cheap K&N style ones. So there is the K&N element n the bonnet so I can mark the cut out and old HKS one on top to keep debris out.

That looks good to me too. Whatever is that thing on top of your air filter, not part of the car is it?

I bought some Lexus ones that were exactly the same. I wanted to turn them down to fit some Peugeot wheels but the chrome nuts weren't properly shaped and weren't concentric with the thread. Absolute crap.

They are. I have the same on my Saab, Tyre fitter informed me they are caps. You can pry them off if you got the time. Mine are very loose now that I've had them off and tried to put them back on.
