Hello Steve, thank you for the message. Sadly the Cantera is still waiting for its turn. Life and other cars kept me from doing anything with it thus far. The intention is still there :)
Dear Steve, Something I meant to ask. Would you have any pictures available of the Cantera when you owned it that you might be willing to share. We I start with the rebuild I like to get it as close as possible to what it once was. Kind regards,
Hello Steve, I had all the best intentions back in 2019 and was actually discussing with a company here in the Netherlands to do the rebuild, but the known story Corona got in the way. So little progress has been made with the Cantera. Any possible work was further delayed by the purchase of a Gurgel X15 in Brazil, which took over 2 years to get it finally on the road here in the Netherlands. I will keep you informed of any possible work that will be done in the future as I most certainly want to see it on the road, next to my Dutton P1 (also an old factory development car). And the oldest Dutton in the world :) Kind regrads,
Hello Stephen, Saw your comment on the Cantera. I am still the owner of the car and it still resides with me in the Netherlands. She is parked in a nice dry location, awaiting her turn to be put back to her former glory. I would like to restore her to how she was when it was the Dutton demo/your car. Would you still have some more pictures of the car from when you owned it?
