I've been gazumped already, seems there are 3 others after it, not worth bovvering :-(( I'll go an play with my new toy then BV
Tidy looking Melos, why no mention of which engine? Maybe it's a pedal car :-)) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Classic-kit-car-dutton-Melos-1978-in-year...
Hmmm, Looks like a good Melos at a price I could afford but I wonder how much it would cost to ship across the pond and how to get it to me in Florida.
Thanks for the shipping information Adrian. The shipping cost for shared shipping almost reaches the cost of the vehicle! Plus it only gets it to Miami. That's half the way across the state from me so I would have to have it shipped from Miami to Dunedin. Maybe that's one of the reasons that my old girl is worth so much more over here.
Roooooad trip...
It would be more profitable shipping two and trucking them across florida Jim.
What could you do with two more and boxes of parts to fill the container? Also need to take into consideration construction and use regs in what ever state the car happens to end up in.
You'd only have to make 10K on one to pay for both ...
lol Adrian, Because of a severe diabetic coma a number of years ago I now live off of social security. Not a lot of cash to spare. I would love to have a Melos to go with my old girl but there is no way I could afford to bring one over with that shipping charge let alone 2 but that is a great idea if I had the cash to spare.
Thats not the point... Could you find a buyer for one if it was over there?
Sorry that sounds wrong when read back, what I meant was, if someone else arranged all the paperwork and financed it... could you sell it?
