Gave the Phaeton a blast this afternoon, I've been suffering with man flu this week but thought a bit of wind rush may sort things, and it did. Came home, finally lined up the bonnet to body (only been on my list for 9 years). Then decided it needed a road test, so went for another blast. BIG daft grin twice in one day. Duttoneering at it's best. :-)))))))))))

I broke mine (again) today. first it wouldn't start then when I got it going it seemed like there was a lot of noise coming from the drivers footwell, checked and found the pedal box has broken through again, this time its going to need proper surgery and a spreader plate inside. All caused by heat or escaping gas from the exhaust manifold. Note to all pinto users, fit a heat shield or exhaust wrap....
How is project Kerry doing these days? its been a bit quiet over there..
