I'm not sure what happened to that link, try this instead

I'm assuming that the AGM is at 1pm, is that right?

Dunno what happened there... me being a bit not smart I guess.

As to time ... who knows, 1pm seems good to me but of course there are people who will not like that one bit.

I fixed the one on the DOC forums, copy/paste seems to corrupt the hyperlink to the application form so I changed it to the 'join' page.

Cannot remember if we are in or out of this, but found this very interesting while having a coffee far from home this morning :    http://fbhvc.co.uk/members-pages/newsletter-archive/

Oops, issue 1 2016 :-))

The DOC are still not signed up, there was a complication with the newsletter only being issued to five nominated bodies.. so no real benefit directly to club members.

I am a member through the Northern Duttoneers and get my newsletter by email, I pass this onto James so he may filter relevant items and info into the magazine.

Have to be honest and admit I don't read all of them all the way through as distracted by the internet and my cars.

May take my back issues to Stoneleigh if I remember.

dont really see the point of renewing to be honest ade. iv been a member for 12 month. only had 2 mags. i know its not much but you dont get support like you do on here :-)))

Its a different bag of rabbits Brian.

You've actually been a member since 08-07-2015 so its only 9 months and there is another mag due shortly. That will be three then :) That's actually quite good for us..

50 - 70 % of the contributors on here are members, at least five on here are serving or recently retired committee members.

If it wasn't for 'The Club' I wouldn't have been able to save that Sierra or the white and blue legerra's. There are benefits to being a member of the club, some places still do club discounts, insurance companies in particular. They won't often volunteer the info but it doesn't hurt to ask.

You DO get support from fellow club members all the time, we just don't make an issue of it. Non discriminatory club you see.

Anyway I'm not here to recruit or conscript people, this is social media.

ok ill pay up lol

I enjoy reading them, Ade, but a lot of their reports are rather long winded because the subjects are very complicated and it would be a real challenge to condense it to make it suitable for Dutton Torque. I have considered it but I really think it would not do the FBHVCC justice. The next Torque is done apart from the contents page and Treasurer's report which I received today. It goes to the printers on Monday so I might have time to put something together as a bit of a digest of the recent ones that I have seen.

I personally think that it would be good if the DOC joined the Federation, as discussed at the last AGM, then our members would receive their newsletter too.

Thats the reason I didn't sign us up, the members wouldn't get a newsletter as there would only be five nominated people who received them.

I wasn;t thinking of relating all the information, just things that were relevant to Duttons and their owners.

Brian, it's all part of the big picture. This is a private forum for Dutton Owners and not part of the DOC. But it is used all members and non members.
