the yellow duton advertised on ebay as an old track day S2 is Q reg apparently i am trying to get the number, we should log all the duttons that appear on ebay and tie pictures to reg numbers so when they reappear as "projects" or track cars with out V5's we can reclaim the log books. if we set up a dedicated page on here for ebay cars pictures and details, we should quite quickly get a large resource to help with the ID theft scam.

I have already asked him for the number from the body ID plate under the bonnet, will check on the database if it has been registered with the club.
Already active on the other thing Dave.
I hadn't uploaded any pictures as they are linked to the club database on my PC at the moment.
I have been logging ebayed duttons for the last 12 months, saving all the images along with a reg number if possible.
Maybe we should be less concerned with protecting our reg numbers and just add them and all the ones I have stored to the gallery on the DOC site for now. Make them public and try to expose the scam both on the internet and to the DVLA at the same time.
Our cars have already had public exposure from random snappers at the shows not respecting our privacy by altering reg's. May as well get them out there and go for it I reckon.
