Dutton Kit Cars and their owners

Just been fitting these hoses on a mates car, he is very impressed in the difference, very solid feel to the pedal. I just wondered if its the hoses or the new fluid all bled through ? Anyone on here got Goodridge hoses? Are they worth the pennies ?

I have PTFE hoses with the 'black' stainless overbraid - 'kin excellent performance move. I think I was using about 25% of my pedal travel to 'blow up' the rubber ones!

That's what Danny reckons, I must admit the pedal is very solid, so may be a worthwhile mod. Good to know that someone else rates them.

Wouldn't do a restoration without them to be honest. I fitted them when I did the discs on CMV last year (2015) it made a big difference to pedal feel and on XSC i'll be going one step further as both rears will have individual flexys to get rid of the cross axle brake pipe. It will T on the chassis then have hardline going to each side above the axle. Still means I'll have to bleed all four instead of three but thats part of the reason I'm doing it.

Interesting idea on the back brakes. Will price them up tonight, May have to forget the drill for a while :-))
