TCA's

So, I have to get new TCA's for one of the cars. Do I get rose jointed inners or bushed inners?

The rose jointed ones come with new bolts, top hat spacers, dust covers. The poly bushed ones come with just bushes and sleeves. I must admit the rose jointed ones look more professional however its a road car, used for touring on mixed road surfaces so the benefits of that inner bush will be noticeable.

i have seen compression struts fitted directly to the tca with a solid bolt and a rose joint at the chassis end.....a bit harsh but it seems to work. i dare say there are better ways of doing it........

one of the adjustable TCA's you can get with shocker mounts fitted.....

or the compression strut mount....i have seen them with both brackets on them..

done a little research on this Ade, seems a very popular mod to rally/race early Escorts, just look at the amount of stuff on eBay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2050601.m57...  half way down is just the brackets gives an idea of what to make :-)
