I'm sorry to hear of your loss. It is amazing the way that animals can become an integral part of the family with individual personality and we can form strong two-way relationships.

Went away for the weekend to relax after all the stress of the shop purchase etc, took the caravan over to North Wales for two days.

Been on the return journey for about half an hour when my next door neighbour, who was cat sitting, called to tell us that Chester had passed away in the night, sleeping comfortably in his favourite bed. He was eight. Way too early for a companion with that much character to be lost forever.

Both Sue and I are pretty devastated at the moment, dam shitty end to a good weekend. Please excuse me if i'm a bit subdued for a few days.
