We now have a gear lever to wiggle around and a neat gaiter.

Dave, the handbrake has been made very slim and perfectly matches the shape of the indent in the seat tub, so when covered with carpet it will not be felt by the passenger. James, the steering column is in the middle of the cross member !! If you look at the pictures of my bare chassis on my page, you will see that I have cut the cross member and welded in a small section for the column to sit on, this was done to give me a clear view of both speedo and tacho. Above the cross member was too high and reduced dash area, below the member was too low and reduced leg room, so another Sheridan refinement was required :-)))
above the cross member is the standard place for the S1's steering column
Looking at the position of the steering wheel, have you put it above the cross member? It looks like you have a lot more leg room than I have. And it is nicely positioned for the dials too. Did you just rotate it half a turn and bold it down instead of up?
looking pretty fair there paul...i see you have added the little filler to the front of the cockpit opening, its unreal but that little filler helps hugely in keeping the interior dry when driving.
personally i would look to moving the handbrake assy as passengers can get a little grumbley as the handbrake does dig into their sides.....
Thanks for the comments gents, There is no room for a glove box, due to the fact that the main fuse box along with the ECU are mounted behind the dash, havn't got any gloves to put in there anyway !!! :-)))))
There will be a tray either side located in the foot wells, so there will be some storage for phone, wallet etc.
That looks very nice so far. Are you going to make a glove box?
i like that ,given me some fresh ideas
