I have one in my workshop Dave ;-)
You can tell its still a dutton underneath, scuttle and windscreen is original. John might be interested in a bonnet if they are in reasonable condition?
lol, jepp
It is important to the community. The common idea. Friendship and fun. Dutton is the only basis. The people behind the Dutton are of interest.
FWIW John, thats a very nice looking car, I had planned to do something similar with my other S1 (would need a one off rearend as well as I have no bodywork with it) but everyone jumped on here and said if it don't look exactly like a Dutton blah blah blah. So it'll probaly go to landfil. Do you have a mould for the nose cones?
guys

do you want to put up 10k,against my 10k????
want to come and view the car,its in preston lancs. this is a bog standard phaeton, its had its one piece front took off,a modified westfield nosecone and an ally bonnet. everything else is standard. dutton chassis, floor, bulkhead, dash, seats boot, side panels suspension, ford rear, triumph front. in fact lets make it 20k,and ill book a vosa vehicle check at Kirkam, that we can both attend.look at the bonnet bulge, its the hump off the phaeton. i came on this site as a genuine dutton owner, since 1979. this is an open offer to anyone on this site, put up or shut up. anyone is welcome to come and view this car, anytime,.Martin, your the expert(the proof is there) you gonna put your money where your mouth is? Too heavily modified??? new nose and ally bonnet, muppet. im me ill arrange a date with VOSA
he was from Preston as well seems quite a coincidence otherwise......
Are you the guy who has been advertising on the DOC site for cars to export to France?
