Hello my friends,
We have a few very nice days with Alexa´s Dutton on the in Constance Lake weeks show 2012 in Constance.
Many people were very interested in the history of our Dutton´s and this small cars. And the interest was significantly greater than in the rest of the (expensive) vintage cars. like Mercedes, Panter, MG, Cobra, Jaguar, Ford Mustang, -Pinto, and, and...

The top joint used by pilgrim, on the sumo is a Transit tie rod end. £5.00 on ebay. Its then a matter of sourcing a threadded tube to weld on. Making new top arms would probably be the simplest way, but I wanted to try and keep the front end looking as original as possible,(strange, I know)
Hello Tom, I have never used Skype, but will get an account set up.... Sorry, I forget that we call parts by different names, I have found the answer to my question about body moulding, in your post on Mr G's Site. The side skirts I was interested in are on Jorg Kleine-Bekel's S2 Phaeton, membership no 235.
Cheers
Paul.
Hello Tom, I hope you are all well over in Germany, I wondered if you could answer a couple of questions for me?
Looking at the pictures of you building the dash on your car, what did you use to mould the dash, and then did you make a reverse mould to cast the final part?
I was also looking at the pictures on your Dutton-Club site, and rather like the side skirts that Jorg has fitted, what material are they made of? and would it be possible to have some made for us in Englang?
Thanks Tom
Best wishes
Paul.
a very beautiful work that you're doing. Compliment! But I always thought that I would build the strongest Dutton. (950kg) "smile" This is a strong frame.
People say that you realize that I come from the mining industry. Double safety!
A sweet greeting
Tom
