Dave A - sent reply. I have since downloaded the parent program and the file now works. All I need to do is transfer it into the freecad program.

Dave T - part of the new suspension design was for free floating cross members, did you not know.?

All dimensions are in mm and taken from Andrew's chassis. Still got a few elements to fit but they are angled and I am working on how to rotate them to the right places. When finished they will provide a working blueprint for a melos chassis, to scale and reproduceable as a set of plans.
Next one will be the S4 phaeton as I have one stripped in my lockup unless someone comes up with another set of measurements for something else.
I plan to upload the 2D plans and the 3D drawings to the members section when complete.
and yes I can do the spinny, whizzy rotatey thing with it, great fun.
