Yeah the crossmember as been chopped both mounting points. But I think doing it this way will be neater.
I can now cut the crossmember down a bit more and tidy that up too. I still need to weld the steering rack bracket back on it, as I don't think the cable ties would get it through MOT.
How've you got on with the Ambo?

I always thought that the escort x member was used to support the engine in this.
Has the x member been butchered to get the pinto in?
