I was actually fault finding on the electrics using parts off my car as swapouts to prove the fault (dodgy coil in the end) so i'm afraid your theory is unfounded... :)

It was a nice Melos though, sadly I think it ended up overseas in the end. The chap who owned it stored his Cantera in my lockup for a few weeks which, funnily, I feel quite privileged to have actually sat in something so rare. Bloody impractical though...
