Good news on the block, crank and bigend bearings checked tonight all new bearing already in there never been run. All bores in good condition too just a little surface rust on top edge of bores, this cleaned up easily. Front end in nick to, new timing chain and tensioner pad. A couple of years ago I shortened the sump to fit my 1600 but after the work I found out you can't use a 1300 sump on a 1600. So that needs finishing now and thats ready to fit. Best order the gasket sets.
