Dutton Kit Cars and their owners

Its Friday the 13th. Spring is here. So what plans do yo have for your Dutton(s)? I cannot believe how fast time is passing, evenings are drawing out and morning is light about 6ish, I think I need every available hour to get on top of every thing Dutton related. The B+ is up and running and hopefully will fly through the MOT next week, tomorrow its on the rolling road at the local engine builders, he owes me, so hopefully he will play OK. I may have to leave the paintwork and just drive it around getting progressively more patchworked as time goes on. Want it on the road by April so that I can get some miles on it before the Stoneleigh trip. The Sierra is running fine, I have plans, but nothing that cannot wait. I'm still thinking of cutting my losses and binning it, yet tomorrow I may feel like finishing it, who knows and who cares? So, come on whats what and who is going where?  Plus I got a Pinto and box to rebuild, just remembered that !

If I'm allowed, BIG if, I plan to be there both days, have things to do and hands to shake, nudge nudge.

Seems the bleed screw is not seating, cleaned and fresh oil added. 25 years is bound to take its toll. And its been used more then most. Found my special MOD axle stands, jeep now nice and secure. I could take it Martin, I would just bench press it back off :-)))

that's sometimes the trouble, complacency. Wake up call, just lucky no one was working under it. I have just checked the Jack, seems it just crept down over time. Time for a service, maybe.

Just came home and popped into the garage and found the jeep on the floor! Trolley jack had collapsed over 3 hours being extended. Must use axle stands. :-))

Tick stock, well done Daryl, due to your lead I have solved the woolly steering. The uj in the steering column is knackered, fine when you shake it but rattles like a good un when twisting. Plus the rubber one at the rack is soft. So another Sierra problem gone, and if dvla get their way that's what will happen, gone. :-))
