High spec which will probably get broken unless someone rescues it quick. I'm prepared to write to him and put in a good word if needed to try and prevent it going for parts, anyone interested let me know quickly.

All depends really doesn't it.
it all sounds very complicated...so basicaly stick to everything it was designed for and all is ok....start changing from that and iva starts to involved. interesting though
There are dodges on the chassis side though, previous usage with that chassis and MOT's could be used to get round an IVA although it will probably still get called for a VIC.
Chassis is the critical component, must be 'original' or factory replacement part to retain the vehicle ID.
DVSA rules not mine...
Personally, as it has retained the dutton shell and looks like a phaeton, I'd be happy to accept it onto the club stand at Stoneleigh. Its a cracking looker and possibly one of the quickest Phaetons around, certainly credit should go to the builder for at least trying to retain the look of the Phaeton.
