Dutton Kit Cars and their owners

So, you go to sell your car on the bay, how does the charges work out, because the dearest thing I have ever sold is £200. And I thought the charges very expensive. Is it a percentage thing? Or an agreed fee beforehand.

That looks interesting. If I had it in me to remove my engine then I would get that ... but I can't see that happening anytime soon. Pity. That looks like a good price too.

But James, you need to try out that new engine hoist :-)

191566362791. Worth every penny ! dump the saddo gearbox and put it a MT75, Oh! whats that in my garage, could it be a MT75? YES. :-)))))

Near me.

Just had another look, wonder how he keeps them stable. Spoke to Tom about his on the red Malaga, he uses small bolts through and wing nuts for friction. Reckons they work good, plus he has top ones for deflecting over the top. Looking at that B+, I want those wheels, in fact the whole car seems tidy, I seem to remember it from somewhere, maybe on evil bay in the past?? and he has my upholstery to be soon done. Yep, like that a lot.

Ahhh, seen it, cunning idea, could be a go'er then, in fact, if I mounted them on the side screen with a rubber buffer to the body work. Thanks Daryl, good spot. I might as well buy the bloody car :-))

Had a very bad experience with a sash window when I lived three floors up and tried to repair the string, never knew it had weight on the end, Window took the quick way down, I clung on !

Just been in the office and put it on the big screen, that engine room  and bulkhead looks "altered" big time.

I've just been out with the Lotus guy's and they say the same, fancy putting a Lotus badge on a Dutton ! Personally I don't have a problem with it. I look at it from an engineering point of view, that's a very good build and a " thinking outside the box" rebuild. Put it this way, your cars are recycled Ford's, his car is a recycled Dutton, being sold as a Dutton. As for stolen I'd, where ?

90% of Dutton owners have altered their chassis, to install 5 link or fit type9, they too should get IVA, in fact probably more so, seeing the standard of work and welding some have done.

illegal front number plate on size, no "Q" plate can use the black and silver number plates so there illegal anyway, and the car is an obvious clone.....not going to be to hard to spot it on the open road, if it ever gets there.
