brake pipes

hi just wondered if its ok to paint brake pipes......just thinking the paint would protect them for much longer..?

no, do not paint, you have to polish them, to a state of high gloss, then do it weekly, they will last longer then you will keep the car :-))

paint traps moisture, moisture causes corrosion. Thats why they use cunifer and the poor use copper.

ok. my old gaffer allways used to make me clean them. and cover them in copper grease ...
