I am still playing with my car adjusting things and altering, since it is not practical to tax my car until today, so  i have had lots of time to sort it out. Well for a given value of "sorted".

So what have i done now?

Me, i think i still like the "before" but Sandy much prefers the "after" picture.

hi Daryl, i have been test driving the S1 today, the bottom of the chassis rail just behind the front wheel to the road surface is 4 3/4 inches.

My pinto is very close to what you run in weight and i am on 225lb/in springs on the front and they are too stiff in the next few weeks i am getting some 160's

I thought,  is the bottom of the side panel paralell to the ground, or rising from in front of the rear wheel to a greater height behind the front wheel.  If so front end to high, if paralell, then I don't know.  I would suggest you need at least 4" clearance under the sump for humps and bumps.

 

i run around 2'' of ground clearance below the sump  however be warned that anything other than a very low bump can cause issues but the car has a great stance and the cornering is fantastic!

i am on my second sump of the year managed to catch a stone with the sump belive it or not!
they look about perfect steve, you just need some hinges now, i will post some pics on here with the mods i made to mine, hinges etc. I thought the S1 doors would fit the B+ just fine, i'm glad they do. Dave.
