well folks it's about time someone did something about the lack of Dutton Torques.......so i am on the look out for any stuff to put in an issue, i think i will knock one together and get it printed up. However i have plenty of articles i could put in that i have written, but some of you may grumble that it's a "snowy2" issue of Duton Torque. 

So if anyone has any thing they would like to share with the members at large (so long as it's in any standard text file e.g. "word" or "open office") and photo's in any size saved as a .jpg, in fact leave the photo's in the original size and i can cut and crop to suit. Then send them to me at  "snowy2 at gmail.com"  and i will endeavour to get something sorted whilst i am on holiday and rained off!

 

Please do it soon so i can crack on with it......if you have sent Mark anything in the last year and not heard anything since, send it to me and i will try to put it in the next issue.....otherwise it will all be me me me me......you have all be warned.....   :-)

I sent about four articles to the Editor last year just after the last Dutton Torque, but I won't be able to send them to you straight away as I am currently off work (hernia).  It will be three weeks before I am back at work (they are on the work email).  I know it is outside your two week time frame, but I will send them away.  Good luck with a new issue of Dutton Torque.  If I can remember the articles off the top of my head I will try and get them into an email.

Wow Derek....writing a book? Do I see a better qualified editor trying to put his hand up for a nod on the DOC Committee?

We have a new Club Editor for at least the next year........hands together for Steve Kerswell, he will be taking over from after i print the next issue of Dutton Torque. He will be looking for stuff to print and you must send him stuff that you may have sent to Piers over the last year or so. as a consequence of now having a "full time" editor once again i have reduced the article count going into the current issue of Dutton Torque so that Steve will have plenty for his first copy.
