2,0L Pinto with rocket 4 speed
My Pinto 2.0L engine as pulled from my Legerra. was fully reconditioned (or it may have been a new short block) prior to being fitted to my car by the previous owners, it also has what looks like a brand new clutch. (well its done 3500 miles in total) it also has a brand new head gasket.......:-(
I think it was from a 1974 MK1 Escort RS2000. (Manual for the RS in the file of bits for the car complete with a receipt for the purchase of the car)
It runs very well with no smoke and very quiet valve gear, the dissy has an electronic points pick up conversion.
The carb seems in very good order and i will leave the air filter.
The gear box is a spare i have (2.0L Cortina box) but will need a new bell housing as i believe it has a V6 bell housing (ebay mistake)
So its all up for sale if anyone wants it or is interested in a 2,.0L Pinto for their project....
