Dutton Kit Cars and their owners

Took to the Cumbrian roads this afternoon, nice little blast up to Kirkby Stephen. Daisy Dutton ran well with one upsets or anything dropping off.

The sun was shining with just a few clouds about, we got parked up, put up the umbrella temporary roof just in case there's a drop of rain (well we are up North!). we walked to the far end of the town when the heavens opened. The umbrella is ok in a quick shower, but not very good in a down pour, when we got back to the car, we were soaked and the seats were awash. Quick fit of the roof and back on the road towards home. As you all have experienced with the roof on when its wet, the automatic climate control starts in rainforest mode.

Although it rained, it was a good run, and the Duragrips worked well though the bends.

I have to admit that I had a little chuckle at your expense too! Sod's law still rules.

One good thing about a Dutton is that you can reach the screen to wipe it, unlike typical modern cars where you have to rely on the blowers to clear it.
