Morning All,
Fixed the clutch, out and about, back to the lock-up and notice clear oil dripping under the engine bay. Looks like the oil line from the sensor on the block to the Smiths gauge on the dashboard is leaking, flexible opaque plastic pipe.
The oil is clear and not hot, so I assume that this is not engine oil, must be a diaphragm in the sensor to act as a barrier between the engine oil and the oil that pressurises the gauge (?).
Any suggestions for a quick fix? Is it a new gauge and oil line? Or can the oil line be replaced separately?
