Strange wire
I have a yellow/black wire that looks like it should be connected to the coil but it doesn't seem to do anything......anyone got any ideas?

Hi Neville, yellow and black is the Ford ballast resistor circuit, comes off fuse 6 through the ballast two wires the other side,one to coil and one to starter solenoid. You probably no longer have that circuit. 12 volt coil and feed.
