Bad air flow to the pinto carb (any carb really) can drastically affect performance. that air box looks as restrictive as it can be.

I like the air box and air filter - I was thinking of doing something similar on my Melos because my air filter sticks through the bonnet. Is it a 2.0 Pinto or a 1600?
