The Plate is XEV65IL not XEV651L. I still have the plate on the front of the car and also have the original rear plate. Go to this message to see the picture of the front plate.

I really like the front fenders. I think that they make it look less "kit car" like. Very few people over here realize that it is a kit car. I have only met 1 person that had seen Phaetons in England.

With my Melos, I found that it could throw dust and water in my face with the short wheel arches that Dutton supplied. Yours look like they would sort that. They look practical and attractive.

you do have a nice looking car there....i have the feeling the front fenders are a custom item by a previous owner but there were some earlier cars that looked like them but i couldn't say that it was a factory option.
