Could you fit a cylinder with remote tank /res

The flange on the carb nearest the master cylinder is touching the cap , and as the engine vibrates it touches the cap and gently undoes it. Very strange and not sure what direction to go in , the angle grinder is always nearby  though !

Great sound with them on , went to Demon Tweeks place in North Wales to get the linkage , hell of place loads of stuff at decent prices. Much better than Burtons. If only I had a few hundred pounds to spare
